Cubic Disturbance Walkthrough

Introduction

In 'cubic disturbance' your goal is to push the special block down by using as few bombs as possible. You can set every bomb that you use to go off at a specific time to your own advantage. You can place a bomb by clicking anywhere on the screen, you can then move it around using your mouse cursor and remove if you don't wish to use it anymore.

Walkthrough

The first few levels are very simple and straightforward, but I'll explain how to beat them for the sake of closure.

Level #1

Just do what you're told to.

Level #2

This level is roughly two times more difficult than the previous one, hope you're ready. So here goes -- you need to place 2(!) bombs near the block to successfully push it down.

Level #3

Congratulations on making it this far, it must of been hard, so give yourself a pat on the back. On this level, you not only have to use two bombs, you also to make it so they don't go off simultaneously, 'cause we don't want that. Set one of them to explode right after (0.00 seconds) and another one to explode in 0.40 seconds.

Level #4

So on this level you see this annoying block on the right, that pretty much blocks your way. What's worse is that you cannot simply blow it away with your bomb, but luckily enough this block seems to be connected to another one that is affectable by the explosion (how convenient), when either of them goes down, another goes up.

Level #5

All right, I hope you got the hang of it by now, and I don't have to write about every small thing. I'll jump right to the solution.

Level #6

I'm really at a loss here as to what to say about this level, it's pretty straightforward and simple, just push the block down and it'll do the rest.

Level #7

This level is rather tricky. Notice where the 'goal' block must fall at first, if it hits the block on the other side, that other huge block will fall on the left and you won't be able to complete the level. Otherwise it's pretty simple.

Level #8

Don't let the 'goal' block fall too far on the right, or it might block its own way.

Level #9

You need only one bomb to push all the blocks in the left-top corner, just place it like you can see on the screenshot.

Level #10

All right, there's a better solution where you get the bonus mark on the right as well, using only two bombs, but I could only pull it off once, and don't remember the layout very well. This solution is pretty efficient as well. For this level I included two screenshots to better illustrate the solution, enjoy.

Level #11

The game becomes brutally difficult starting this level... not, but it might be not so easy to get the bonus mark and beat the level using only four bombs, here's how you do it.

Level #12

Getting the 'goal' block all the way up using only two bombs (3.50, 4.50) may seem impossible, but it's not true. Just try a few times if it doesn't work out on your first try.

Level #13

It'd be easier to explain how to beat this level with an animated clip, but I hope it's clear enough even like this. You need to hit the 'rotatable' block with the 'goal' block and it'll then push it through on its own, just give it a try and you'll see.

Level #14

All right, this level will totally make you feel yourself smart, it's a walk in the park.

Level #15

So, you see that bonus mark in the top-right corner? That one is impossible to get. Just kidding, it's not, but the only way to get it is rather complex, I might post later how to do it. For now you have a more straightforward solution, enjoy.

Level #16

Time for some made-up random statistics. It takes a total of 2(!) clicks to beat this level if you know what to do. That's about 30 times less if you don't, but that's 2 times more than it takes to proceed to the next level (but 2 times less if you're drunk). Anyway, here it is.

Level #17

It's been proven (by none other than me) that you can beat this level in about 7 seconds. It's also been proven (and once again by me) that the bonus mark on the left is useless, meaningless and just plain annoying, don't even bother trying to get it, seriously. Oh yeah, don't forget to rotate that rotating thingy on the right, otherwise this little block on the bottom will not even budge (what a bastard!)

Level #18

This level seems awfully simple, but let it not fool you, it has its own share of 'frustration'. The main problem is to hit the 'goal' block hard enough that it can reach all the way to right eventually (after going through pretty much all of the screen), at least it doesn't require much thinking, so be grateful.

Level #19

Have you ever played a game that seemed so awesome to you until you reached a certain boss fight and/or a frustratingly difficult dungeon or whatever? Welcome to such level in this game. It really seems like a no-brainer on the surface, but trust me you'll want to throw your mouse against the wall out of frustration, when the goal blocks stops like 4 pixels from the ground. Setting the timer like you can see on the pic might help though (0:00, and 0:20, they're different if you haven't noticed yet)

Level #20

No, there really isn't a trap or whatever, trust me. It really is that simple. I don't even know what else to add here, just get it over with on go on to the next level.

Level #21

This level is very difficult, unless you know what to do, and once you read my walkthrough you'll know it better than anyone. It's hard to explain what'll happen, so I'll just post two screenshots, so that you can see it in action.

Level #22

Flinging this little block to get bonus points seems a bit like cheating, but whatever.

Level #23

Do you like not-optimal solutions? I hope you do, since you have one here. Once again I'll include a few screenshots so you can figure what's going on (I bet you'll be clueless after looking at the first screenshot)

Level #24

Yes, you need to get at least two blocks on the platform-ish thingy on the right to make it go down. One will not do. I repeat, one will not do.

Level #25

All right, you reached the final boss in the game, well done. Yep, it really is the last level in the game, no jokes. And it's not even the hardest level in the game! Seriously, what a scam. But anyway, the trickiest part on this level, is to make that rotating thing on the right err... rotate, so that when the goal blocks hits against it it won't fall through and get stuck.

And... You're done. Congrats on beating this not-so-easy game, hope you enjoyed reading my walkthrough as well as enjoyed playing the game. Thanks for your time.
